How To Attract Prospects To An Internet Home Based Business Opportunity (Part 1)
In previous articles, I have discussed how to select a niche market in order to find customers for your products and services. I’ve also talked about how important it is to know what you are actually selling. This is very important and not as easy as it sounds. Today I address the first step in how to attract the right prospect to your internet home based business opportunity.
You are not trying to attract just any prospect. Instead, your intention is to attract the perfect prospect for your business. In order to find that prospect, you must determine the best target market.
So you need to ask these two questions. Would you rather be attracting people who know they want to earn additional income but don’t know why they need an internet marketing opportunity? Or would you rather attract those people who already know why they want an internet marketing opportunity?
The answer is fairly obvious. If the prospect doesn’t know why they need an internet business, you will need to spend a lot of time convincing them why they do. This market can be classified as business opportunity seekers. They already know that they want to make additional income. They just don’t realize that an internet marketing business is there best alternative.
On the other hand, if the prospect already knows why they want an internet marketing opportunity, much of the work has already been done. Now, all you need to do is sell yourself. This is not necessarily easy but can be done. I will share more on this in future articles.
So what markets should you target if you are looking for people who are already searching for an internet business?
1. People who have been in an internet home based business before. They are already familiar with that type of business model. They know that it works. Their objective is to find the right business.
2. Those people who have decided to join your company and are looking for the best leader or upline.
In the next few days I will write an article that discusses how to attract people from these two markets. The key is to know your prospects’ needs and how to provide them value.
These methods will provide a stark contrast to those taught by MLM companies in the past. They have nothing to do with chasing after friends and family, inviting people to hotel meetings, or cold-calling long lists of leads purchased from lead companies. Most of these people have no interest in what you have to offer.
The marketing methods I am talking about will actually attract people from your target market. The information you provide them will allow you to build a trusting relationship with them. This will bring them to a point where they are chasing you and asking you if they can join your internet home based business opportunity. I will cover all of this in a subsequent article.
