Home Based Business Write Offs

What kind of tax write-offs do I do if I started a home-based work?
I'm looking to start a home base Small Business. I am a single mother with two young daughters. I lost my job as a tractor driver in the oil field in May, and I want to start something I can do at home, so I can stay with my children. I heard that you can claim a certain part your house, and there other things you can ask your tax bill when having your own business? as advertising? or materials that I need to buy to run my business? Money is so tight, so no way I can save money or both would be really useful! Any info is really appreciated! Thank you!
You can write on gas for your car (one percent), a percentage of the cost of food (lunch to work for you / work), I think only about 20-40% of your rent or mortgage if you set up a home office. Basically, there are too many to list. It Super good … except for receiving ALL EVERYTHING you buy, and submit each receipt. The tax people will go through them and use what they can … even if they use only a quarter of the recipes you prepare yourself for a good performance.
