Work From Home Internet Jobs

Are those who work on the Internet from jobs at a con or can you really make money by sitting on your ass?
To Compare for example the one I found on www.nethomeworkers.co.uk I think it's a con, but I'm not sure. He did not even tell you what the "orders" are that you will meet!
Most of them are a scam. I mean really, does Bill Gates and Steve Jobs richer sitting on their butts? And if these jobs are legitimate, why does not anyone know a real person who is successful in these career fields?
